Duplicating Courses & Menus

When a course or menu is duplicated, any linked items (courses or recipes) will also be linked in the new course. The linked items (courses or recipes) themselves, will not be duplicated.

For example, a course "Arugula Salad with Blackberry Vinaigrette" may have a linked recipe, "Blackberry Vinaigrette." If you duplicate the salad course, the vinaigrette will be linked to the new salad - "Arugula Salad with Blackberry Vinaigrette 2", but the recipe itself will NOT be duplicated. Instead, you will see the new salad as being linked to the same sub recipe.

This is important to note because, any changes made to a recipe or course, will be reflected in the courses and menus that reference it.

Menus are the same, when you duplicate a menu, it does not create a copy of the linked courses and recipes. A new menu is created with identical linkings.
