The business labels feature allows you to customize your business by changing the names of the main sections and individual fields. All of the main fields in the Recipes, Courses and Menus and Events sections can be customized based on the needs of your business.
To access the labels feature
You will need to first click on the business name in the upper left corner. Click on the settings.
Once in the settings page you will see all the labels listed under the "Nomenclature" section. To change the labels, click the "edit list" button.
WARNING: Changing the labels can make it difficult for our support team to troubleshoot problems. If you are experiencing issues in a certain area, you may need to restore your labels to the default settings in order to get help from our support team.
To change the labels
Just type the desired name into the field and click the "save list" button. The new label will update immediately.
In the example below, you can see the "Menus & Events" section has been changed to "Test." The change has been reflected in the main section header at the top of the page.
Below is another example where we changed the labels for a cocktail bar. This business may not deal with food at all and can change the name of the courses section from "courses" to "cocktails."
It may not be necessary for a location like this to document recipes so much as the components that make up their cocktails ie. house made syrups, tinctures, infusions etc. The "recipes" section can be changed to "components."
To Restore Defaults
The defaults can be restored at any time with a simple click. Just click the "Reset to Default" button. Your labels will go back to the original settings.
